Whatever the symptom, we diagnose it fast and carry common parts to finish most jobs on the first visit:
- Oven not heating at all, an electric bake element or control relay, or on gas the igniter, which you will hear clicking or see glowing with no flame.
- Oven will not reach temperature or bakes unevenly, usually a drifting temperature sensor or a weak igniter that lights late. We verify with an independent thermometer.
- Gas burner will not light, a spark igniter, spark module or a corroded burner head, common in older Cambridge buildings.
- Oven died after a self clean cycle, almost always a blown thermal fuse and a stuck door lock.
- Dead cooktop element, broken hinge or cracked door glass, all standard replacements.

Do you work on gas ranges and gas lines?
We repair everything inside the appliance, igniters, spark modules, safety valves and burner components. We do not modify or repair the home gas supply line, which is licensed gas fitter work, and we will tell you if that is where your problem lives.
My oven quit right after a self clean cycle, is it dead?
Almost never. Self clean cycles run so hot they cook the thermal fuse and door lock. It is usually a fuse and a latch, a single visit fix.
