First: is it in Cooling Off or demo mode?
Samsung refrigerators have a store display mode, called Cooling Off, Demo, or OF OF, that shuts off cooling while the lights and panel still work. It gets switched on by accident all the time, often by a child leaning on the panel. The tell is a fridge that looks powered and lit but never gets cold, sometimes showing OF F or a flashing display.
To exit it, the button combination varies by model, but it is usually holding two buttons together for about eight seconds, commonly Energy Saver and Fridge, or Power Freeze and Power Cool, until the display beeps and shows a normal temperature. Check the sticker inside the fridge or your manual for the exact combo. If cooling returns, that was the whole problem.
The real failures, if it is not demo mode
Dirty condenser coils. On most Samsung models the coils are underneath or behind the lower back panel. Packed with dust and pet hair, they cannot shed heat and the fridge drifts warm. Unplug it and vacuum them clean, and give the unit a few inches of breathing room from the wall.
Evaporator fan. If the freezer is cold but the fridge is warm, the fan that moves cold air into the fridge section may have failed or iced up. You may hear it rattling or hear nothing at all. This is a common, moderate repair.
